Dominic Kessler, the youngest of the Kaspar-glass tradition.

The Kaspar - glass family comes from Bohemian / Silesian Sudeten Mountains. They have been successfully active in the numerous glass factories since the middle of the last century. In 1925, grandfather Franz Kaspar founded the company Franz Kaspar, crystal glass works, which works today in Neckarzimmern / Germany. There, in the glassworks of his uncle Peter Kaspar, Dominic Kessler learnt the craft of the glass blower. After studies in different German glassworks and in Sweden he resolved to build his own small glass studio in LA PALMA.

This decision needed a long time to mature, because Dominic Kessler is a qualified musician with a teaching degree for trombone. Thus two worlds are  combined in an ideal way with each other. Therefore, maybe his creations have thus this special charm mixed with the romanticism of the south.

Already very early Wladyslaw Gozdz began his apprenticeship as a glass blower in Piensk/Penzing Lower Silesia. Because of his love and talent to the crystal glass, he received the title of the "master of the glass blower craft" at the age of 27 years already. Then he worked in different glass factories in Poland and got through the invention of new glass techniques a fame which is well known in Poland and in Europe.
