History

The Kaspar-glass family proceeds from the Bohemian Silesian Sudeten Mountains. Already in 1925, grandfather Franz Kaspar founded his own crystal glass work.

In 2000, the glass studio Artefuego was established on the initiative of his daughter Karin Kessler-Kaspar and her son Dominic. It connects the Bohemian and Silesian family tradition with the elementary old forces of the volcano island and their local traditions. Invited guest artists from all over the world attribute new impulses. Together with Dominic they create an art craft, which has been unknown on the Canary archipelago up to now.
